The do it yourself that I bring today is very special to me, as my grandfather did a couple of years ago. My grandfather was a very crafty, then the McGyver, was able to convert any junk in a very original decorative object.
In this case you bring a lamp made from a Roman scale. A Roman scale that my grandmother did not use, a couple of plates of dessert, two balloons and a string used to manufacture it. It occurred to my grandfather assemble a lamp to the ceiling with these everyday objects, which gives you the aisle (which is where this lamp) a very rustic appearance.
Observe how the cables are parallel chains and they are hidden from below. Cap of the lamp is hidden inside the balloons (which are recycled from other more antique lamp) while chains are also used to hold the plates. I really like this lamp because it maintains an object that has been passed down for generations in my family and has been given a new life.
A detail that shows care is the inclusion of a trim on the roof so cables are not anywhere. In the intrastory, will tell you that it was asking for things my grandmother without explain for what I wanted dishes and otherwise until you are presented with the lamp.
I encourage to do ye also your own lamps but before you enteréis how to work the cables that goes the light so that we do not have any reader electrocuted. Sure that you leave original things like this.
